What bridal make-up actually costs in India in 2026
Real price ranges for bridal make-up across Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Jaipur, and what changes the number.

Bridal make-up in the six cities ARKA works in runs from about ₹9,500 to ₹32,000 for the wedding morning itself. That is a wide range and it is not arbitrary. Four things move it, and knowing which ones apply to you is most of the work of choosing.
What actually moves the price
- Experience. An artist four years in and one fourteen years in are doing the same job with different amounts of judgement, and the gap shows up on a morning that goes wrong rather than on one that goes right.
- Airbrush versus HD. Airbrush is sprayed, sits lighter and holds longer, and usually adds 30-40% to the same artist’s price. HD is the ordinary answer for most weddings and photographs perfectly well.
- How many people. Almost every artist prices additional people separately (mother, sisters, the bridesmaids) and it is usually ₹2,000-₹5,000 each.
- Travel. Artists publish a radius they cover for nothing and charge beyond it. The charge is shown before you confirm, and it is the artist reaching your venue rather than a platform fee.
What is not in the headline price
A trial is a separate booking, typically ₹2,000-₹6,000, and it is worth doing. It is the only chance to find out that what you described and what the artist heard are the same thing, on a day when being wrong costs nothing.
What a fair quote looks like
A quote should name the service, the time it takes, who else is being made up and what travel costs, before anybody pays. On ARKA that is the agreement, and it is what both sides keep. If a quote you get anywhere leaves one of those out, ask for it in writing.
